The roadside memorial sprang up almost immediately after the accident on a road I travel everyday, right in my neighborhood. I cannot imagine the grief his family feels, but I see Zach McCarthy’s heartbroken friends, one here, one there, standing at the memorial, remembering their friend with raw, unadulterated sorrow. Along with our entire community, we at The Well thank God for his life and pray God’s comfort and peace for all who mourn for him.

Very Sad, yet also bittersweet. Bitter in the loss for those who loved him, yet sweet to know he is in heaven.
